I know Nova doesn't like it, but is it a shared feeling through out the band?
My friend and I got in an argument about it today, and I knew someone here could clear it up lol
Thanks

Moshing sucks at a non-punk rock show.

I've pretty much given up on moshing since I almost bit through my bottom lip in a pit. Which was gross.

I'm lucky enough so that when I mosh, my head is directly under most people's TEETH!

Owee.
I do it anyways though. But sometimes at really small venues, or at any one, it can be super annoying and make the experience painful. No likee.

I'm 6'9" tall. I'm about the height of a moose, and about equally capable of as much damage.

This is why I don't mosh.

Then again... that could be a reason why I should mosh...

You've no idea how often sports are mentioned in my general direction. I get requests, inquiries, and demands all that time that I should play basketball, football, soccer, among other sports. Basketball and football are the most common though. But the thing is, the only sport I'm interested in is snowboarding, but I'm so tall (and I have big feet to match), I can't find any equipment that properly fits me anymore. And it's only a side-interest anyway. If I could get into swordfighting of various kinds, I would love to do that. But my main ambition is drawing comics. I'd take a job as a cartoonist over being a basketball/football/insertmiscellaneoussporthere player.

Plus, last time I was on a basketball team, back when I was a kid, my teammates almost never passed me the ball, because they thought that since I was so tall I'd take over the whole game and they wouldn't get a chance to play. In reality, I was only just as good at the game as they were, except taller.

That sounds like a doctoral thesis on game theory. I'm sure somebody is addressing this issue right now.

If you had actually been really good, that would be different, but in not giving you the ball, they were doing what was good for themselves, not the team, but the fact you weren't better resulted in what was good for the team.

Until someone gives you the ball and the whole thing falls apart.

So push them all. That seems to be the routine during a red alert, anyway...

At the 'nauts show here, people started moshing too the Aka's. Nothing wrong with that. but, at he =P= set they started moshing so much that me and mr.Noname were the only ones up front because the People were splashing beer everywhere and knocking into people outside of the circle. Also, someone tried to skank but it was an extreme version of it.

Yeah, same thing happened at the show here except people were moshing during every band, including the Phenomenauts.  The place was WAY too small for moshing too.  Some ridiculous guy kept crashing into me.  I actually was in the back at first but ended up getting pushed/carried away to the front.  Hahaha.  Not that I was really gonna complain about that...

i think they all just want to see every one having fun and moshing isnt fun especially if you are trying you hardest just to stay standing dont get me wrong i love to mosh but it's a time and place thing... the phenomenauts are neither... pogo and dancing yes...especially because the phenomenauts are a very visual band and when your getting pushed around it's hard to pay attention to them especially when your waiting for some ones foot to hit you in your head... just dance!!!! it's much more fun and no one gets hurt unless you pull a dance muscle Cool

Oh god, I experienced super skankers at the Aquabats show at Slim's. They had like...mini skank pits everywhere, but there was always some kid who got WAY to into it and just started to look like they were "hardcore dancing"(you know, the flailing crap!) and someone would get kicked or slapped.

It's not that hard, people!
