Hey, It has recently popped in my head that I want to practice my abilities with Flash animation. I figured I'd try my hand at a cartoon based on a Phenomenauts song.
I've only just recently started on it, so I don't have anything to show. I'm still working on character art, backgrounds, and stuff. The song I've decided on is Cyborg, and I've got a plan in my head for how the animation will go along to the song.
Characters appearing will be Nova, the Cyborg girl, and some of the other Phenomenauts may make an appearance for some jokes in the background as the song goes along.
Reason I'm posting about this is because I'd like some help, if possible. I'm not the GREATEST of animators, and I'm also using an older version, Flash 8 Professional (like hell I'm gonna pay ridiculous prices for just an animation program, regardless how awesome it is). I tend to have trouble with speed and synchronizing animation with sound, as when I post an animation the web, it animates slower than intended and falls out of sync. If someone here has flash experience and would like to help, I'd really appreciate it. If not, I might slowly lose interest in the animation and eventually just give up. Or just possibly p-... aquire...(yes, that's it) a newer version of Flash. In fact, if there's someone really good at animating and would like to do all of the animation, that'd be fine, and I can do the art. I have a rather unique art style, that's kind of reminiscent of Home Movies. kind of.
I'm doing those mostly to practice my skills drawing on a computer tablet, and my general abilities in Flash. So if anyone would like to help, I'd really appreciate it!
