I'm a member! I wonder if there are any other Vector Squad cadets in or near Fresno/Clovis... Would be nice to not be the only one in town promoting the Phenomenauts.

Ah yes, though technically we've never really met at all, unless you happened to be at the Command Center in Oakland last May.
Still, I hope I'm not the only Vector Squad cadet in Fresno/Clovis, missions around here would be very fun with a partner to work with.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing too but for where I live. Turns out there is another cadet who lives here! Hopefully we'll have success! Plus there are lots of other people that still haven't enrolled into the VSE.
Have you signed onto the first mission?

Yes, I have. Having a little trouble, though. I don't think there are ANY indie stations in or near Fresno, so I'm gonna have to go to the next best thing and try requests at the more general rock stations. there's a college radio station, but its mostly jazz, so they probably won't have anything Phenomenaut-related. There are two stations I can try around here, so I hope ONE of them at least can play Mission.

Yeah same here. Although I did try this pretty big station in the Bay Area. Live 105.3 (they hosted BFD) and they seemed a lot more interested than the local radio station.

ugh, there are NO indie stations in the Fresno area, I swear! Making things worse, the stations I COULD try (KRZR 103.7 and KFRR 104.1), which are two mainstream/general rock stations, couldn't be reached at all. KFRR's line was constantly busy for all of the twelve times I called and KRZR just wouldn't pick up their phone at all (and I waited for a good three minutes!). I doubt they'd have the Phenomenauts anyway, as they only play bands are really well-known, and the Phenomenauts aren't exactly super-famous (especially in the Valley it seems).
Mission Failed, I guess.

Don't worry Squiggy. Mission failed on my part too  We did have some indie rock stations here, but none of them had the 'nauts! I SHOULD HAVE CALLED WENZDAI! DAMN IT! |
